In the beautiful Jan/Feb/March issue of the 52 year old Everton Genealogical Helper Magazine we announced that we were going quarterly. When the financial crisis hit just after we published that magazine our little company went under. We are working with other genealogy companies to provide our current customers with products that will make up for the loss of their magazine. One, Family Chronicle has volunteered to send one copy of their magazine to you in honor of this company that began modern genealogy. You can still access World Vital Records from this site.
As you may know, two old genealogists saved both the Everton Library,(80,000 unique genealogical volumes were going to be sold at a garage sale on the lawn but are now housed in the Logan Library) and magazine about 5 years ago because we had loved the Helper for years. We honored all of the old subscriptions, then we honored all subscriptions for Heritage Magazine when they went out of business. We appreciate all our customers who helped save the library! We also kept our beloved magazine for 5 more years.
